Anna plays supporting role in local ‘Frozen’ craze

Disney’s “Frozen” may have completed its world domination in 2014, but one character has remained sorely undervalued amidst all the hype. Anna, the sister of Queen Elsa, frequently plays sidekick to her magically gifted sibling, despite singing more songs, logging more screen time and emerging as the real hero of the story. Hoggard High School senior Nicole Tetrault plays the character, opposite Abby Bowman’s Elsa, for local birthday parties and events with agency GigSalad. She said that she is well aware that Anna has been cast in a supporting role, with kids more quick to gravitate towards Elsa because of the popularity of her song, “Let It Go,” and her status as the face of the film. “When Elsa is there, she is the queen to the kids.
